SIZING THE CORRECT MACHINES FOR YOUR PROCESS

You will need to make a test.

From the wave that makes the most dross.

Run the solder wave for a normal shift and do a normal dedross.

But First

Take a dross bin/bucket and weigh it empty,

Then dedross in to the dross bin direct from the wave. Do not chop or mix the solder, do not use any dross reducing powders or wave oils to reduce the amount of dross.

(Please ask the operator not to chop the solder or use dross reducing chemicals, Just use a spoon with holes let the solder drip and then put in direct in to the bin/bucket).

Then reweigh it

What is this weight?

Please contact EVS or it local distributor for any questions regarding sizing the correct machine.
